I am devastated to announce that The Hereford Food Festival has now been cancelled. This was not something I wanted to do and was not an easy decision to make. In times of such uncertainty – I am unable to take the risk of continuing planning and making payments for the festival to run, and then being unable to hold the event. I would like to send my sincere thank you, and apologies to all the incredible food and drink suppliers who have booked to join us for You will all receive an email from me imminently with your options on refunded pitch fees, or transfers to Our 4th year had a line up of amazing artists on our Main Stage and Community Stage as well as new additional zones for the event, and more kids entertainment, as well as of course the most incredible selection of food and drink producers who were ready and waiting to be there for you and I am truly devastated to have to cancel.
In the tough few months that lie ahead – for us all in one way or any other – please stay safe. I know I am not alone when I say how much I am looking forward to packed stadiums, restaurants so busy you have to wait for a table, pubs with queue at the bar, events with only the weather to worry about and being able to shake hands and smile together again. We are now completely closed to public — we only have a very small number of staff working off-site. This means we are not able to make or accept phone calls at present. The government have now announced that indoor theatre events can happen with social distancing, but this is not financially viable for us, or the shows that perform at The Courtyard.
We are also currently undergoing building work, so we have made the decision to remain closed until that is complete and the furlough scheme ends. Cancelled Events Events until 30 September are now cancelled or postponed. This time period is in constant review. We are contacting affected customers via email with your options, so please check your emails and double check spam folders if you cannot find yours.
If you have booked for multiple shows during this affected period, please bear in mind that you may receive multiple emails as the process has to be done individually per event. We are a charity and refunding everyone will be financially devastating for us. Therefore, we are asking customers to kindly consider donating the cost of the ticket, or take a credit to use at a later date, rather than requesting a refund.
Refunds After facing some delays with our ability to process refunds remotely, we are now working through refunds in request order. If you you request a refund going forward, please bear in mind that there could be delays in this getting to you — we are cautioning up to 90days. This is a combination of working through a back log with very few staff, and delays with card providers who are struggling with increased demand.
If you do not use email, or did not provide us with your email address, there is unfortunately nothing we can do at this time.

Parish Mass takes place every Sunday at am. All Saints Church has been a focus of Hereford life for over years. Its dramatic twisted spire dominates the skyline, and the medieval interior is an inspired meeting of the sacred and the secular: we aim to serve the human need for physical and social as well as spiritual nourishment. The original All Saints, probably dating from AD, did not last long and it may well have been damaged by an earthquake. Rebuilding was soon started, but took a long time and it was not until about AD that the new church was completed, very much as we see it today.
It seems that the tower and spire had always leant over until the straightening of the s , because the builders did not realise until it was too late that they were laying the foundations of one side very close to one and possibly more rubbish pits. In later years the spire was given a further twist at the top, as metal fixing for the stones rusted badly and pushed the stones out of place. There is a ring of eight bells, which regularly peal out over the city.
A massive project of repairs and restoration took place in the s. All Saints re-opened in July and since then has gone from strength to strength with an average of over three thousand visitors a week. The building is a church, a community centre and a cafe. It is a place where people of all faiths and beliefs are welcome to pray, worship, talk, eat a delicious meal or use the space for all kinds of performances and meetings.
The Nave has been used for many different events from Shakespeare to Flamenco. The South Chapel has been used for dinners, displays, sales, meetings and office lunches.
